Actually, it’s from the reversed version of the conversation. The expert tapes your conversation, then plays it back in reverse, very slowly, and listens for the messages! There are a number of rules and “protocols” for how they do it, as explained on the site. I hope you can go to the link below (either click on it or cut and paste) and listen to the forward and reversed speech that’s on the website - while it’s not easy to understand, it is clear when the speech is slowed down. It definitely takes some listening to, and some are easier to hear than others, but it’s all fascinating, and the website has a number of examples. Check it out and thanks for writing!
