Reverse Speech

Hi everyone - well, the State Fair was a bust! Rained out, so I didn’t get to do the mini-readings. Oh well - managed to shop and spend money, so the day was not a total loss! LOL!

I wanted to tell you about a fascinating topic I have recently explored with a client/friend of mine, Wayne Nicholson. It’s called Reverse Speech, and it’s the art and science of finding the hidden messages from our unconscious mind in our spoken words. You can check it out on his website at www.thehiddenlanguage.com.

Wayne and I did a few sessions so that I could try to get some insight on personal matters, as well as my Mediumship.  What came out was fascinating, funny and weird, but definitely enlightening. I found that by and large, my  subconscious self and conscious self are  “in agreement”, which was very comforting!  In other words, my  opinions and beliefs about myself are the same  both consciously and unconsciously, so I’m not just kidding myself into thinking I’m psychic, or whatever.  Or if  I am, I’m kidding myself all the way through to the core - LOL!

We came up with lots of interesting stuff, but Wayne was intrigued by this story, which I had completely forgotten about - this happened to me nearly 30 years ago! But my subconscious self knew this was a key bit of information to give me in answer to my questions. Here is Wayne’s write-up:

Identifying and documenting speech reversals can be a very subjective experience, which is why we have such strict protocols. Some reversals, even when they meet all the requirements, and are clearly heard, can be inexplicable to the investigator. One example of this occurred during a session with internationally known Psychic Medium, Debra Crossman. Debbie was taking advantage of reverse speech in order to better understand her own internal process and psychic communication.

A portion of that conversation follows:

Forward: Its my higher self and your higher self. Are these really all separate beings like John and Dick and Harry standing over there? Or are they aspects of us, or what? I wanna know who they are really, because many times, especially in the old days, when I was doing trance channeling, its just seemed as if it was all me.

Reverse: Dead boy in a church

While this reversal was quite clear to me, I couldn’t imagine what it meant, and was a little nervous about playing it back to Debbie. What if it meant nothing to her? On the afternoon of our follow-up session, we listened to her reversals together and discussed their meanings, and possible ways she could use them to enhance her life. I took a breath when we came to the “dead boy” and said, “Debbie, I’m not quite sure what this is, but I can say that the reversal is definitely there.”

She listened and laughed saying, “Oh my God, I know exactly what that is.”

During her training as a Medium at the Spiritualist Church in Quincy, Massachusetts, Debbie stood before a congregation for the very first time, and was expected to give messages from the other side. While she spoke she noticed a boy standing in the doorway who was “obviously looking for someone.” In an effort to help, she asked the congregation if anyone knew the boy standing at the door.

No one else could see the boy! When she described him, it became apparent that he was the deceased son of a visiting Medium who sat directly behind Debbie - out of the line of vision of the boy who was looking for her.

So the clearly spoken reversal that had no meaning to me, had profound meaning for Debbie. It reminded her that she was indeed speaking to individuals who have crossed over, and not her own imagination.

I’m very grateful to Wayne for his gifts and insights, and encourage you all to consider using Reverse Speech yourselves as a new tool for more self-awareness and discovery. Check out his website today, and let me know what you think!
